Alan Pogue is an award-winning documentary photographer, based in Austin, Texas, who has seen more of war and more of Iraq than Bush has. Pogue has made several trips to the Middle East -- including one this summer to Iraq -- to photograph the ordinary people, the ones most affected by war. The ones that will be "collateral damage" and "unintended consequences" if Bush goes through with his plans.
In this audio story, Pogue talks about the men, women and children he has met in the Middle East. He brings the people of the area to life and challenges the limited information Americans receive via the national media.
